This position is responsible for maintaining Human Resources (HR) system interfaces. They will function as the technical subject matter expert for HR applications and work closely with Information Technology (IT) as the HR Department representative on applicable projects. Additionally, this position supports HRIS system upgrades, patches, testing, and other projects as assigned.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Serve as the technical resource/support for HRIS activities including but not limited to end-user training, system troubleshooting, and report analysis for the HRIS system, Time Keeping System and Applicant Tracking System.
Research and identify root causes of data issues.
Propose new or revise processes to prevent user or data issues from recurring.
Define requirements for installing and improving related systems and determine appropriate time for implementation of system modifications or upgrades.
Perform technical tasks including analysis, design, coding, debugging and implementation of HRIS applications and associated integrations.
Conduct statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries.
Execute audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, payroll administration and more as required. Evaluate internal audit information against vendor-sourced data.
Serve as the HR liaison to the IT department.
Coordinate with IT and monitor systems to ensure data security, end-user access and data integrity across all HR platforms.
Coordinate with HRIS vendor(s) to ensure optimal HRIS operations.
Design, develop, and produce HR and Payroll analytics and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Support HRIS system maintenance.
Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year degree from accredited college or university in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or other applicable fields.
Proven experience with development and reporting tools is required.
Previous technical support, upgrade and software implementation experience is required.
Must be proficient in HRIS systems related tools including MS SQL, SSIS, and reporting tools such as Crystal reports.
Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Working knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure is desired.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator status under the Company Driving and Safety Policy.
