Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for SecOps functions appropriate for the Senior Technician level.  This requires the ability to perform more than one of the following functional areas as well as the ability to mentor other team members:

Job Schedule Operations

o   Scheduling and integrating jobs

o   Application controls

o   Balancing and distribution of data

o   Upgrade and configure scheduling software

o   Process improvements and automation activities

·    Security Access Operations

o   Providing appropriate Data and User Security Access

o   Controlling, maintaining and monitoring security access to the computer infrastructure and data repositories

o   Upgrade and configure security management software

o   Process improvements and automation activities

Mainframe and Associated Systems Operations

o   Running and monitoring applications

o   Detecting application malfunctions and providing appropriate notifications

o   Process improvements and automation activities

·         Code Migration Operations

o   Production path migration management

o   Test environment availability and readiness management

o   Code migration processes

o   Configure migration software

o   Process improvements and automation activities

·         Testing Operations

o   System test management and execution

o   Script and script catalog maintenance

o   Integration of testing with migrations

o   Upgrade and configure testing software

o   Process improvements and automation activities

Position Responsibilities:

Build solutions utilizing available software tools.

Effectively mentor other team members.

Assist other team members on assigned projects.

Effectively use and mentor others to use software tools to accomplish assigned tasks.

Collaborate with other teams and vendors to assist in building solutions.

Provide after-hours problem resolution as required.

Assist in planning and reporting status on assigned projects.

Effectively use the functionality of PC, Mainframe and Web applications and tools to perform job responsibilities and mentor others.

Research and resolve problems with applicable software.

Research, evaluate, develop and deploy operational solutions to meet business needs.

Provide training to end users, when necessary.

Communicate with vendors and users for problem resolution, as needed.

Create and estimate task lists and projects.
Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school and (2) years of experience in a computer related field or Associate degree from an accredited school and (4) years of experience in a computer related field.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Good organizational skills.

Good problem solving abilities.

Ability and willingness to learn and extend skills.

Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation, or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator Status, under the Company Driving and Safety Policy.

Ability to interact with customers as well as peers.

Good Telephone skills.

Technical Skills:

o   Personal Computer knowledge

o   TSO/SDSF

o   Vanguard/RACF

o   Active Directory

o   SailPoint IIQ

Other Job Information (if applicable):

Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 30 lbs. without assistance.

Repeated use of PC, telephone, printers and any other office machines.

Extended periods of sitting and concentration.

Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and reaching in office environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Occasionally work long, irregular hours.

Provide after-hours problem resolution, when required.

Work to be conducted in office environment owned or leased by company.

Travel, as required.
